Nach langen Planungen geht es nun endlich los.

Im Juli habe ich eine Sportster XL1200 Roadster gekauft, Baujahr 2005 und komplett original. Weil sie mir so nicht 100%ig gefiel habe ich sie zum Lottermann gegeben zum Umbau.



Es soll so einiges gemacht werden, vor allem im Heckbereich. Insgesamt soll die Sporty aber ihre schlanke Linie behalten, dafür aber tiefer und länger werden. Erstmal wurde gestrippt. großes Grinsen




Der erste Schritt ist getan: Die Schwinge sollte so lang möglich werden, ohne auf Kette umsteigen zu müssen.



Satte 112 mm sind dabei rausgekommen. Die Schwinge ist erstmal provisorisch länger gemacht worden, um zu sehen wie es aussieht. Die eigentliche Schwinge wird eine Einzelanfertigung sein.




Ich bin jetzt schon begeistert.

Ich werde berichten wie es weiter geht.fertig !!!

Also, so prall sieht das ja nicht aus. Da hätte man besser nen anderen Rahmen,
z.b. von VG gekauft und den Rest reingebaut, wär auch nicht teurer gewesen. Und dann ausgerechnet beim Lottermann........ Naja, wir werden sehen. unglücklich

VG Motorcycles.........soso. Gibt's die überhaupt noch? Eine Internetpräsenz haben sie keine mehr und das letzte, was ich gehört habe, war, dass die aufgegeben haben.

Macht aber nichts. Dass Neuaufbauten fast genauso viel kosten wie Umbauten, höre ich auch zum ersten Mal. Zunge raus

Umbauen ist immer gut großes Grinsen
Aber warum willsten die Schwinge länger machen?
Ich denk da an enge Kurven.Also bei meiner mit 13° und 8,5" over haste schon
en ganz schönen Wendekreis großes Grinsen Also handlich geht anders Augenzwinkern Okay ich komm
damit zurecht,aber enge Kurven da mußte aufpassen smile Mach mal und berichte
mal wie die Sporty dann in Kurven so zu handeln ist.Zu Lottermann kann ich net
viel sagen,hab halt auch noch nix gutes erzählt bekommen.Ist aber oft subjektiv
und sollt mer selber ausprobieren.Der Eine schwört drauf der Andere sagt never.
Ich verfolge den weiteren Aufbau mit Spannung Augenzwinkern

Das hab ich auch noch vor im Winter aber 5-8cm sind mir genug.Über 11cm sind Mächtig oder?Kann man die org Schwinge nicht einfach verlängern-Sonderanfertigung hört sich so wichtig an?

Klasse Cat es geht Los großes Grinsen

Das was Cat sich so vorstellt, kann nur der Lottermann..... also ruhig Blut cool

Zum Thema Handling..... also eine Sporty ist schon ziemlich geil und die Handlingeinbussen wird unsere Cat schon bedacht haben. Aber so schlimm kann es nicht werden.
Könnt ja mal ne Runde Dragstyler mit nem 280 - 300er fahren großes Grinsen Augenzwinkern
